Collaboration: Warhol & Basquiat

 Collaboration can be a way to explore and expand, taking the artist's work to the next level.




Andy Warhol and Jean Michel Basquiat both gained in fusing their distinct styles.                                    












This collaboration opened the door for the world to react. Decades later, collaboration amongst artists forms new 'networks' of life.




To use this idea, the artist has to have a signature style. The collaborator could be his/her greatest 'competition' or his/her idol, depending on what the artist needs. The project together would help them both.
